The admission process for graduate studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) is about to begin and I have wide open spaces in my lab for people interested in getting a PhD in the field of applied computational chemistry. Since admissions are managed by the Graduate Studies Program, please address all your inquiries to them instead of contacting me directly, at least for the time being (you may mention you learned about the calling on this blog.) Online registration to the admission test will take place from June 1 to 12.
This call applies to Mexican and foreign students alike but foreigners should be aware that the scholarships/stipends are awarded –mostly– by the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT), not by PIs themselves. Also, should be aware that the admission test will take place until February 2021 (but the registration should take place during the upcoming dates) at your corresponding Mexican Embassy or Consulate.
